Follow-up to Craftsman Garage Door sensor malfunction. Sensors will not illuminate

I did the battery test on the Garage door sensors as suggested by Bob B. The sensors will glow when attached to a 9V Battery. They will not glow when attached to the Garage Door Motor. I'm using the same short wires to test at the garage door unit as I am using for the battery test. Are there other measures I can take or is it time now to purchase the 3rd logic board from Craftsman? BTW it is on a high end surge protector. These surge devices are used in radio stations to protect expensive/sensitive equipment.

I would return all the products and purchase a new system under warranty protected by a surge protector like you have. Or you could go and start replacing every wire harness and lead until you might find the solution, if you do. I really am sorry you are having trouble with your opener but this would be my advice on this one. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
