i replaced garge outside remote pad, thinking old one was was bad. opener still not working.
it seems like the garage opener will not set the code on my outside pad.

First of all make sure the batteries are good. Second, are you sure the device is compatible with your opener? Not all products are. Do the remotes work well also? You would need to give me the model numbers of the opener and of the keyless entry for me to give more in depth advice. Thanks BB

The keypad I thought was not working (my password didnt work) was only failing in one digit! The "1" didnt work!! Changed the passcode and now it works fine.
