What type of hydraulic oil is used in the hydro-gear assembly for a 1970 Sears mod. 917.25500 yard tractor?
I have a 1970 Sears super 12 hydro-trac tractor model 917.25500 and need to find the type of hydraulic oil used in the hydro-gear assembly. As well as the amount.

I can't find the amount of oil in the transaxle. The fluid is type F transmission fluid.
