How difficult is it to install a safety cover for an in ground swimming pool?
Do holes have to be drilled in the concrete deck that surrounds an in ground swimming pool in order to install a safety winter cover?

A safety pool cover would need to be anchored down to the concrete deck around the pool. This would normally involve drilling into the concrete to install anchor supports. A safety cover would have to be able to support weight.
There are Winter pool covers available that can be held down with water bags but they are not "safety" covers that can support the weight of a child to protect the pool. They will keep out leaves and debris.I recommend that you check your local pool supply stores for more information about these types of pool covers.Join this conversation.
