What can I grow in my back yard that is totally shaded by 60 foot tall oak and pine trees?

I live in VA and my house backs up to a forested ravine. It is not level and nothing will grow. A prior owner poured rough concrete in the back that is not level. There is a large shed in there which used to be used as a garage.

I recommend that you consider using groundcover in your back yard. The ground cover can be used along with decorative rocks or stones to provide decoration and prevent erosion. It is likely the only plant that will grow at this time based on your description.

Here is a link for a Manage My Home article that describes the use of groundcovers that may help you:

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
