Where can I find receiver/remote(s) for my garage door opener with a 24 volt nec push button class 2 circuit?

I have an old Sears Craftsman garage door opener that has an AC-powered receiver as an accessory that allows the matching remote to trigger the opener. We have lost the remote control transmitter. The opener chassis has a pair of posts where the wall-mounted button and the receiver both attach their pairs of wires. The posts are labeled as 24 volt nec push button class 2 circuit. We need remote(s) that can transmit to this receiver (Chamberlain 635CB, no DIP switches but a screw on the side possibly for adjustment). Otherwise we need a suitable replacement receiver and matching remote(s).

To help you find a compatible receiver and remotes (if they are available), we would need the full model number of your Sears Craftsman garage door opener. The model number is normally under the light cover of the motor unit. Most Craftsman garage door opener model numbers begin with the numerical prefix 139. . .

If you can find the model number of your garage door opener, resubmit your question with this information and we will attempt to find the parts that you are looking for. If the garage door opener is older than 20 years, the remotes may not be available. You may consider buying a new garage door opener is you are not able to find more information on your present garage door opener. This may wind up being less expensive than buying parts for your old opener.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
