Why does my old password still work after I put a new one in it on my Craftstman Keyless Entry pad?
We have used the same password for 9 years on our Craftsman Security Keyless Entry garage door pad and decided it was time to change it because of certain circumstances. I successfully put in a new password but now the old one still works too! How can I delete the old one so it doesn't work anymore? Both the old and the new passwords are working presently.

You input the new code but you didn't erase the old ones so lets do that. Find the colored learn button, press and hold it until the led light by it goes out. Now all devices are erased out. ----- Press and release the learn button and then press the button on the remote. The light will flash once. For more remotes repeat from----. For the keyless entry press the learn button and then within 30 seconds enter the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button. Again the light will flash. We recommend a surge protector on all openers. 900 joules or higher. Make sure and do a 2x4 safety reversal test for safety. Thanks BB
