I purchased it from Sear's in Huntsville, AL on August 11, 07. 2 cycle. It seems like its overheating.
Be sure you have fresh gas in the trimmer.
Clean the air cleaner and blow any debris out of the engine area with compressed air.You might have debris in the cooling fins on the engine causing it to overheat. If the air cleaner is clogged, the engine will run to rich and flood.You could also have a worn spot on a fuel line that is letting air into the line after it warms up.You could possibly have an ignition module that is cutting out when it heats up.Look first for things that would cause the trimmer to run too hot.Member
