Here are some tips that may help prevent grass from growing in your flower beds:

  • Install fencing to prevent grass runners from entering the bed. I use a metal fencing to keep Bermuda grass out of my flower beds.
  • Add decorative bark nuggets or mulch to help prevent grass from growing. This can also keep the ground underneath moist so that the grass that does grow is easier to pull out.
  • Use a weed and grass prevention mat during the winter to kill off the grass before planting in the spring.
These tips may help. If you need more assistance, resubmit your question with additional details.
