How can I fix my compressor? When it is full it will leak, but when the plug is pulled it will stop leaking!

It is a model 919165230, when it is filled the valve leaks, but when the current is off the leak stops. What is it? Can I get a parts list for it?

With out knowing where the air is leaking from, there is no way to know what to do to correct the problem. Fill the tank to the max pressure and locate the leak. Replace the part that is leaking or causing the leak.

Go to www.searspartsdirect.com and you can see or print a parts list and diagram for your compressor.

If you need any advice for the repair after you locate the leak, send another email.

Remember if the check valve is bad the bleed off will leak through the pressure switch. This leak is not coming from the pressure switch.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
