My garage door remote don't work after battery changeand reset. The pad keyless works. help!

There are a couple of things that could be going on here. First find the learn button, there is a led light by it. If it is constantly lit resubmit question with model #.
First check the battery to make sure it is in correctly. Sometimes your receiver is at fault and people think it is their remote. Did you replace the battery because you thought it went bad? If it stopped working and you replaced the battery it could mean that the remote has gone bad or the receiver is bad. If the wireless keypad works on the outside of the garage I would bet on the remote. Although not 100%. Try another remote first and if that doesn't do it you will need a new logic board or an external receiver. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
