gar dr open 139.53..lost its counter. on test, rotates clockwise a bit, then back. Which part do I n

Part not seen on chassis assembly parts list and person on telephone says that is the only picture she has. The part that fell off is on the board of #17, RPM sensor assembly, but you cannot see it on the diagram. The part you can see is working okay. Does the part I need come with that assembly? Opener at store does not have the same parts. Part #20 sits over this little u-shaped part and it apparently counts the revolutions so that the door is lifted all the way up. This does not happen now. It seems to be a plug-in, but it may be hardwired onto the board. Someone needs to actually look at it and tell me which part to order. Shipping being what it is, I can't afford a mistake.

The rpm sensor sits on the back side of the screw gear. And the sensor on the logic board counts the revolutions. Most of the time a rpm sensor comes with the sensor and the mini board. It has 4 metal prongs and 2 plug ins. Numbers on it are p101,u101 and 14lg41oa. These are not the product numbers, but will help you identify what comes with the rpm sensor.

  1. 17 is the wire harness and plugs in to #16 rpm harness assembly. These are not hard wired. #18 is the shaft bearing kit and #19 is the actual rpm sensor. # 20 is the logic board. Hope this helps if not you can upload pictures here so I can have a better look. More picyures is always better than less. BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
