craftsman 1/2 HP garage door opener..how to reset keyless entry
the numbers I could see were: FCC ID: HBW 1127 41A5021-2C 132B21041 6/98

First make sure there is a new 9v battery in it. To see if the unit has power push any button and the backlight behind the numbers will be lit. Next find the colored learn button on the back or the side of the motor head. It should be green or red and will be the only button on the machine that can be pushed. Pess this button briefly and within 30 seconds press the 4 digit code you want on the keyless entry followed by the up/down button. The light bulb will flash once. This tells you it is coded. Wait for 2 min and try it out. If the unit does not work or it fails to program, try it again and make sure to enter deliberate numbers into the pad. If still nothing you need a new keyless entry.
