why is the hard wired button blinking on my 1/2 hp craftsman gargage door opener?

If it is a constant blink then it is locked. There are three functions to the wall switch. One button raises and lowers the door. One controls the light. The third is the "vacation lock". Find the button that indicates lock. Press and hold this button for 2-3 seconds and the led light should return to solid. If it is a sparatic blink then the push button or wiring needs to be replaced. Thanks BB
