How do I find and check the thermal fuse, igniter, thermal cut off on a Kenmore model 110.76822695 gas dryer?

Everything runs fine but no it doesn't heat and I think I can diagnose this if I know how to access the parts and a wiring diagram.

The instructions to access the thermostats and thermal fuses are in the image below along with the wiring diagram for you Kenmore model 110.76822695 gas dryer. Remember to unplug the dryer before accessing any parts.

When a gas dryer runs but doesn't heat the most likely problem is an open thermal fuse and I recommend you check that first.

The thermal fuse can be checked for continuity across the terminals with a volt/ohm meter.

The fuse can be checked without a meter by removing the two wires and joining (jump) them together. Put a little electrical tape on the connection and don't let it touch anything metal and run the dryer and see if it heats.

I hope this information helps to resolve this problem but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
