What drives the two blades on a 44 inch deck?
I have a model 917.254350 lawn tractor with a 44 inch deck. I purchased a jackshaft 121706x primary drive pulley. What drives the other two blades? The jackshaft is new see pic no 1. where is the pulley for the lower belt to drive the other two blades?

The primary mandrel for this deck has a double pulley on it. I am not sure what part you ordered or replaced because 121706x does not run in our system.
If you ordered the complete mandrel, you should have received a 121705x mandrel which would have a double pulley on it.You probably need to reorder the part.Join this conversation.
