Is there a replacement wall switch for a sears craftsman electric garage door opener mdl 139.53515sr

current wall switch is no longer available. Switch on/off button sticks in and must be pryed out. My garage door has opened and closed by itself. I need a replacement switch or a method to repair the current switch.

If I remember right it is a wall station with a 4 wire configuration. There are only two things that can be done here. One is to look on a site like ebay and try and find one with the 4 wire. Any craftsman 4 wire will work. They have converted all 4 to 3 and this requires a new logic board and new terminals. The other is to use a screw driver and short across the screws to find out which two are the raise/lower function and hook up a door bell type button. You will lose the lock and light function, but this can be done. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
