i just bought a garage door opener, craftsman will the old remotes work and the out side panel one

No sorry they will not. The new units operate at a frequency of 315. From 2001-1992 they operated on 390...and so on. The military took over a frequency close to the old one and it was causing problems to the old security plus. Any thing with the symbol ((( ))) will work with the new unit. Thanks BB
