In my research I could not find that exact model number, but I will give you the two ways and a way to find the correct one. Open the remote and on the inside of the remote you will either find 8-10 little dip switches that can be turned on or off, and the same set matching on the back of the motor unit, or you will not.
1-Dip switches-Simply change the on/off order to anything other than what you see in the remote and match the back of the motor switches exactly. This changes the code.2-no dip switches-Find the colored learn button on the motor head. It will be on the back or side of the unit and will be the only button that can actually be pushed on the unit. Press and hold this button until the led light by it goes out. This erases all codes out///Now press the learn button again briefly and then press the button on the remote you want to operate the door. The light bulb will flash once to tell you it is received. Do this(///)for all remotes. For a keyless entry press the learn button again and within 30 seconds enter the code on the keypad followed by the up/down button. Again the light bulb will flash. The prementioned advice worked for me. My door was still opening however not via the garage door opener that we keep in our car. I first thought it was the battery in the remote so I replaced it, however that didn't work. I read your advice about pressing the button on the garage motor and then I pressed down the button on the remote...PRESTO garage door opened via remote and we are a happy family again. Thanks for the help...I hope this helps someone who had the same problem.
