Need to know if older remotes will work with new Craftsman Garage door opener
I have a new Craftsman 3/4 HP direct-drive garage door opener. The remotes 00953753000 model 53753 work fine. But I have some older remotes (number inside is 093D0168 ITI 2) that look like item #00953879000 Model 53879 from the web site. I have changed the batteries, but cannot get them to link up with the GDO when I press the learn button. Will they work or not?

Sorry the older remotes will not operate the new units. The only ones that are compatible are the ones with the ((( ))) symbol on them. Manufacturers change their frequencies to ensure security. The new ones operate at 315mhz. Thanks BB
