How do I erase all of the old programs in my garage door opener so I can program in a new one
I think my opener has too many codes in it How do I erase all of them to start over

Push the colored learn button on the motor until the led light by it goes out. It will be on the back or side of the unit. You have just erased all codes. This would be a good time for new batteries.
Push the learn button again briefly and then press the button on the remote you want to operate the door. The light bulbs should flash once to let you know it is coded. Do this for all remotes. To program the keypad press the learn button and then press the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button. Again the light bulbs should flash once. Wait 1 minute and try the keypad, your 4 digits and up/down. Also try all remotes. Also get a surge protector 900 joules or higher. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
