There are only a couple of reasons this could happen.

-it did not close all the way and you found it open

-some one has a remote that has been coded to your opener or knows the code to the keyless entry.

-you have received a power surge and the logic board needs replaced.

First lets erase all codes out and recode. Find the colored learn button on the unit. It is probably purple. Press and hold until the led light by it goes out. This erases all codes out.

////Press that button again briefly and then press the button on the remote. The light bulb will flash once to let you know it is coded. Do this again for all remotes.//// This paragraph only. If you have a keyless entry ---Now press the learn button and then press the 4 digit code followed by the up/down button on the keyless. Again the light bulb will flash.

If this does not fix your problem you have a damaged logic board. Do you have a surge protector on it? Whatever happens get one, 900 joules or higher. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
