Garage door remotes work intermittantly. Is there a receiver problem on the main unit? Electric OK.

It's a Craftsman about 10 years old. The problem involves the wall unit, car unit and exterior touchpad. Sometimes they all work to open/close the door and sometimes they don't. Is there a place on the receiving unit that needs cleaned or something? I had an electrician out, and he said the electrical system in the garage is just fine.

This indicates that your logic board needs replaced. It will make it work very sparatic. There is no way anything outside the unit will open or close the opener. So you can replace the logic board or replace the whole unit, your call here. There is nothing to adjust or clean. Sorry for the bad news. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
