Fist off this would be a good time to replace the batteries in the remotes.

There are 2 different kinds of reprogramming that can be done. An older unit will have dip switches on the back of the motor and the inside of the remote. Usually these are little white switches and are numbered 1-8 or 1-10. These need to be matched exactly and can be any combination of offs and ons.

A newer unit will have a colored learn button on the back or side of the motor head that can be pushed. Press and hold this button until the led light by it goes out. This erases and resets everything. //// Then press the button again(like a door bell) then press the button on the remote you want to operate the opener. The light bulb will flash once to let you know it is accepted. Repeat this(////) for all remotes and keyless entries.

If these instructions don't work you will need a new logic board. We recommend a surge protector on all openers 900 joules or higher. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
