Grage door opener wont'work. Craftsman 139.53637SRT1 light flashes when I hit button but won't open
When I hit the opener either on wall or hand held the green light flashes and motor moans but it won't open. I reset it and waited the 15 min. Springs are working and nothing is blocking it, the lights are aligned correctly. Craftsman 139.53637SRT1

When the door opens the safety eyes don't have a function. Unhook the door from the opener and run the door itself by hand without the opener. Does it run smooth and easy? If not something is wrong with the door and needs to be corrected. If so hit the button with the door unhooked and run the opener. Does it run? If so you need to adjust the force settings on the back or side of the opener. If not, does the motor run but not the chain. If so then you need to either replace the gears in the opener, or this might be a good time to replace an older unit. If you can hear the motor run but no action it is your gears. Thanks BB
