Cannont program Craftsman garage door opener model # 139.53681B. Help
We have used the manual and cannot get the door opener to program

First check the batteries in the remotes and change them if needed. Even if you did not too long ago.
If you are programming it by the book with no success usually that means there is a problem with the receiver on the logic board. Your logic board can be replaced you just have to weigh the cost factor against the age of the opener to see if that would be the way to go or to get a new one installed. You can find a logic board at sears.com. We recommend a surge protector on all openers, 900 joules or higher. This could be the reason you are having problems to begin with.
