The model number for the opener is 139. 652001. It does not have a learn button or code entry device, only a black and white wire under a cover on the back. The model number for the opener is 139.53681B. I purchased this opener because I have one working remote with this model number. The wall button also works. I need a second working remote. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
There are only 2 different configurations as far as this goes.
1- A colored learn button either on the back or the side of the unit. It is not hidden and would be the only one you can push.2- There are "dip" switches that the unit operates on. These are a row of little switches that can be turned on or off to create a unique code that your opener operates on. This will also be on the back or side of the unit. It will also have matching ones inside the remote too. These need to match exactly to work the unit. If you are looking for a remote to work the unit Chamberlain(manufactures all sears openers) has a universal remote called a Clicker remote that could operate your machine. We recommend a surge protector on all openers. Thanks BBMember
