Garage door opener, replaced drive and worm gear, carriage will only move 1 foot no blinking light
1/2 HP 120 volt 60 hz Model 139.53966srt Chain Drive After replacement of Drive Gear and Worm Gear Carriage will only move 1 foot and then back 1 foot. Light is not flashing force and distance adjusted to no avail green light strong on sensors ?????

Sounds like the force setting on the logic board to me. Try this have some one else push the button and you pull pretty hard on the door to "help" it. Make sure you are not in the way of the sensors. If it goes down then this is the problem.
If it wo't still try holding the push button down instead of just pressing it, this will not work from the remotes. If it goes down like this then you are looking at a safety sensor problem. It could be the bell wire, the safety sensors or the logic board. Any of these products can be found at sears.com. Make sure and do a 2x4 safety reversal test when all is finished.
