There are 2 types of openers.
One has "Dip" switches. These are little switches on the opener numbered 1-8 or 1-10 that can be turned to open or closed to make a unique code to operate on. The remote will also have these switches on the inside of it that must match exactly. The other has a colored learn button and nothing in the remote. You can find this button on the back(single light) or the side(double light) of the motor unit. It should be the only button on the motor head you can actually push. It should be white, red, green, orange or purple probably. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
