Model # 13953975SRT1. Craftsman door opener that acts like something is in the way of its sensors, but nothing is. It moves about an inch to come down and goes back and the light flashes several times. I have adjusted the torque and checked all balance with no luck....
Make sure and get down sensor level and watch the eyes while you push the remote button. Sometimes the jamb brackets on the track are loose enough to move it just enough for trouble. There are force settings on the back of the opener make sure they are at the right setting, up to 3/4 strength. Also make sure the opener is in the right position too. At the all the way open position it should be about 1-2 inches above the door, no more. At the crest of the door closing when the doors top panel makes the track radius it should clear the opener rail by only an inch or so too. If nothing then your board might not be sending the right amount of h/p to the motor and may need changed. Make sure and protect the opener with a surge protector too, 900 joules or better. Any of these can be found at sears.com Thanks BB
