Short wireless remote range for Craftman Garage Door Opener (Model: 13953681B)
The wireless remotes (including keyless entry pad) for my craftman screw drive garage door opener (model number 13953681B) only works within 5 feet of the antenna. This issue just started this morning. I have replaced the batteries in the remotes and reset the codes many times. Even unplugged the opener for about an hour to reset any codes that may have been present in its' memory. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have bought any appliances or electrical devices that coincide to this problem then that will be the problem. Unplug this device and try it again.
If nothing has changed than you have a couple other options. One is an external antenna, this boosts the signal and is probably the cheapest fix. Next is an external receiver, this changed the frequency that the opener operates at. The only draw back is that you need to buy the remotes and keypad that work with it. Next is a new system. This comes with a new internal receiver and will have all the remotes and features you pick out. All of these are available at sears.com or sears for a new system. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
