Why won't the wall mounted remote work on my garage door opener?
I have a Sears Craftsman garage door opener model 139.53491SRT. The wall mount stopped opening the door, but the light is still on. I checked the wiring & it seems good. The other remotes work. Do I have any option other than replacing the wall mounted remote? Is there a reset?

First, I recommend reprogramming the wall mounted control. This may fix your problem. If not, then you may try erasing all of the remote codes. Reprogram the wall control to see if it will work properly. If not, then it will likely need to be replaced.

I am having this same problem. How do you reset just the wall mounted control? Mind you this is the control that is wired to the garage door opener.
