It is a Kenmore model 16680 LP Grill. There is no volume at the burners. I tried two new tanks, same result.
If you are using LP gas, the volume of gas to the grill is controlled by the regulator on the LP tank.
The regulator on your grill has a built in flow safety valve that will turn the flow of gas off or very low if a hose breaks or something causes a larger than normal flow of gas through the regulator. This valve will close off sometimes if there is air in the lines. To reset the safety valve, remove the regulator from the tank and let it set at atmospheric pressure for 5-10 minutes. Install the regulator on the tank and just crack the valve on the tank open. Bleed the air out of the gas lines by turning the valves on the grill on beginning with the farthest valve from the tank. Let the gas flow until the line to the burner is filled with LP gas. Turn that valve off and open the next farthest valve until you have bled all the air from the gas lines. Turn all the burner valves off and open the valve on the tank as far as it will go. Light the burners as you normally do and if the safety valve has reset, the grill will work normally. To prevent air from building up in the lines, turn each burner valve off after cooking. Then turn the valve on the tank off.If you still have the same problem, replace the regulator and hose.Member
