Why won't my grass catcher come off my mower?
have new Craftsman lawnmower Model 917.374362. grass catcher is full and wont open. Have used it before with some difficulty. Was hard to manage but worked. Grass is somewhat damp, but I waited till 5pm to let the grass dry. Metal rear door won't lift up

The grass catcher should just lift right off the back end of the mower. It sounds like something with the rear door on the mower is hanging up. If you can't see it hanging anywhere to unjam it, I would recommend calling the store and seeing if they can get a technician to come out and have a look at it. With it being new, there shouldn't be any little problems that are serious.
