Remote worked fine until a few days ago. Changed the battery - red light comes on when you press the button, but no hum, no open door. I do not have instructions.
These remarks will help if the wall button works normal and the remote does not.
If you open the remote and see little numbered dip switches that can be flipped one way or another. They have to match the same dip switches on the back of the motor head.If you do not have switches on the remote or motor than you have a little button on the back of the motor head called the learn button. Push this button and then the button on the remote until the door operates. If it does not work you can purchase a universal remote made by Chamberlain called Clicker. It has instructions on how to find your brand and code it. If that still does not work then you will need an external receiver. This is a box that receives the code and relays it to the opener to run. We use these when the internal receiver goes out. If you already have an external receiver then at first when you buy just the remote that is the brand you must code to. BBMember
