We had a remote control and that worked, but then failed. Changed the battrery, and bought a new remote control. With the new remote came intructions on how to program the remote. We have no blinking light as it says in the intructions. We need help! Now we have 2 remotes and non work. If we manually press the wall control the garage opens. Please help!!!! Thanks!
First of all not all remotes work with all openers. Is it the EXACT remote as your old one. Most will have a number on the back. If you were to go to sears or sears.com and tell them the color of the learn button on the motor unit or give them the model # of the opener, then they could tell you what remote goes with your unit. If it does not have a learn button then it will have dip switches on the back of the motor unit and inside the remote that have to match. There is only one remote that is "universal", it is made by Chamberlain and is called the Clikcker. BB
