My Sears Garage Keyless pad with new Battery wont hold a code , i was able to program from my car
I hold the motor Learn button and within 30 secs I press on the keyless pad 4 #'s and hold it doesnt hold the code.....It has a new Battery and works from the Garage opener Button inside and from my car programmed....

If you press any button on the keypad and the back light comes on the unit is receiving power and should work normally. The button inside is wired so will work always.
Try this. Press the learn button once, not hold and within 30 seconds enter the code for your keyless entry and then the up/down button. The light bulb should flash once to tell you the code has been received. If this does not work and other remotes do code in then it is time to replace the keypad. BBJoin this conversation.
