If this is a residential door it is most likely galvanized steel, unless you have the Clopay Avante. It really depends on the brand. Overhead Door co. windows are made so a whole new glass and frame have to be installed. Most other brands have screws that sandwich the glass in the frame. It is easiest to do while the door is down with 2 people. Take out all the screws and take the old glass out. Measure the inside frame and subtract 1/4 inch. Do this for height and width. Reverse steps to install. If you have the Overhead Door co. garage door you will have to destroy the frame to get it off. Probably with vice grips. The steps are the same but the frame gets beat on with a hammer and hold with teeth. BB
