The clutch drum is threaded and screws on to the clutch assembly. To remove the clutch drum you need to know which rotation of the clutch assembly when the engine is running. Pull the starter rope several times and the clutch drum should rotate.

Turn the clutch drum in the same direction the clutch drum rotated to remove it. The best way to unscrew the clutch drum is to place a metal chisel on the outer edge of the clutch drum so that when you tap the chisel it will bite into the clutch drum and cause it to rotate. Rap the chisel sharply with the hammer and the clutch drum will usually spin off the clutch assembly.

If the clutch drum doesn't spin off, you will need to hold the clutch assembly while you rotate the clutch drum. You can usually use a bent piece of wire or something to hold the clutch assembly.
