Why won't the drive wheels disengage on my mower?
I just purchased the917.376592 front drive mower. The front wheels will not stop. I tried to adjust as per the manual but it made no difference

It sounds like the clutching mechanism is stuck on the transmission. You'd really need to have a technician take a look at it for that. It's generally going to be an internal problem.
