First of all this would be a good time to replace the battery or at least check it.
There are actually 2 ways. The first one involves erasing all old codes out and the second just inputs a new code for the keypad. To erase all codes you must have the remotes handy too. Find the colored learn button on the motor unit. It will be green, red, orange, white, purple or yellow probably. This button is located on the back(single light) or side(double light) of the unit. Press and hold until little led light by the button stops flashing. This erases all codes. Now press the button once and then the button on the remote that you want to operate the door. The light bulb should flash and this means that it has accepted the code. Do this for all remotes.-------------- Press the learn button again and then on the keypad press the 4 digit code you want to operate the door. The light bulb should flash once more. If you just want to program the keypad then follow the directions after the dotted line. Thanks BBMember
