10 yr old door opener won't cycle more than 12 inches in either direction. What should I check?

I replaced the sprocket and gear assembly without issue, however my door will not cycle properly. I checked the limits and tried adjusting those as well. A green light on the back of the unit will blink 5 times and then stop after the door attempts to cycle as well.

There should also be force adjustments as well. Using a medium flat screw driver turn all the way clockwise and try it. Make sure you haven't adjusted the travel too much that the door wants to go too far up or down. Before you do any adjusting unplug the unit and wait 2 minutes then plug in. After you adjust the force all the way up if it does cycle properly turn them down 1/4 turn at a time until it does not work again then go a little above that. Make sure and do a 2x4 safety reversal test after adjustments. Thanks BB

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
