How can I remove epoxy paint from my concrete garage floor? It is peeling. Want to take it all up.

We thought we were putting down garage floor stain but found out it was merely paint when it started to peel with the hot tires. Then we applied two part epoxy garage floor coating but it peeled even worse. Now, we want to get back down to bare concrete. We have worked scraping but that will take TOO long and is TOO hard on the body.

Use a chemical paint remover to remove the rest of the paint. Before you try to recoat the floor, you should use a concrete acid etching solution first. This will ensure you get the best possible bond to the concrete.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
