how do i control outdoor bugs in a heavily wooded area with a large lawn?

mosquitoes, i can see, but mostly, i don't see other insects. is spraying all plants and trees around useful and safe for kids? are there raccoon n traps? and what do you do if you trap a raccoon?

Spraying is not recommended. You may want to build some bat boxes - a bat eats it's body weight in insects every night.

There are also mosquito traps available which use propane to fuel them - they create carbon dioxide which the mosquitoes are attracted.

There are raccoon traps - they are similar to squirrel traps, only a bit larger. If you trap one it should be transported far away and released. You can hire a pest control company to do this for you if desired.
