I have a craftsman 42" cut riding mower. What should the tire pressure be?

It will have the recommended tire pressure on the tire itself. I have always ran mine with 14psi in the front and 10psi on the back. The main thing to be mindful of is that the psi needs to be the same for both front tires and both rear tires. Meaning if you have 14 in the front right, you need to also have it in the front left. And the same with the rear tires. The reason for that is because if the left/right is different, it will cause the mower to cut uneven.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
