our garage door touch code transmitter 139.53776 is no longer available what replaces it?
The transmitter is for a Sears garage door opener, we replaced the battery but it still does not work.

First make sure the battery is in correctly. If it has dip switches inside the transmitter make sure they match up with the ones on the motor unit. If it has a colored learn button on the back of the motor unit press this button and then the button on the remote and the light bulb will flash to tell you it is coded.
If this does not work take note of the color of the button on the motor unit and go to Sears to find the right remote. Also Clicker by Chamberlain makes a universal remote that will work with any gdo. Thanks BBJoin this conversation.
