The best bet to protect your concrete driveway from salt, grease and the elements is a penetrating siloxane sealer. These sealers sink into concrete and form a shield that keeps water out, but still allows vapors to escape, thus preventing cracks. You'll see many surface sealers on the market, but these sealers may create glossy driveway surfaces that become hazardously slick when wet.
