how to install a governor spring on model 12H802-2684-B1 lawn mower
craftsmans lawn mower model 12H802-2684-b1 had no governor spring engine runs wide open briggs & stratton engine 6.0 need to know how spring connects to mower

The spring should go from the throttle assembly to the governor arm. Unfortunately there is not a drawing or diagram of how this should be set up available for me to pass along to you.
There aren't too many ways that it can be connected though. The spring will connect into holes in the places where it should go. There won't be a notch or tab that it connects to, it will be holes. In the end, you may have to have a technician connect it correctly if it just fails to come together right.Join this conversation.
