I have a Craftsman Electric Pressure Washer, model 580.752020. The high pressure hose has a split, so it needs to be replaced. I received an expert answer from MMH_JK, who tried to help. However, he said to use two pliers to remove the hose. The hose end is in a plastic slot, so I can not even get a single pliers onto the connection ... not even a single finger... let alone multiple tools. I have attached a photo to show that the end of the hose is obstructed. How can this hose be removed?
I apologize for the bad information I sent you on your previous question.
The model of pressure washer you have is one that we have very little information on. We don't have one available to look at, so I am going to ask you to look at some things and maybe together we can figure out how to get this hose removed. The reason for the slow response is I have been waiting for a response from the manufacturer of the pressure washer. The response I received was that they did not have any information to give me.The high pressure hose has to connect to the outlet side of the pump. It must have a slip fitting on it and that is why you can turn it without removing or damaging the fitting.Look between the hose reel and the outlet fitting of the pump. Is there something that goes from the pump to the reel and the hose connects to that? Does the high pressure hose go through the center of the hose reel and connect to the pump? Turn the hose and see if it is turning on the pump. It could have a quick connect fitting on the hose that connects directly to the pump.If you will check these things and let me know, I would appreciate it. The photo you sent did not come through. Any other photos would be appreciated.Member
