Why can I only program one remote for my garage door opener?

Craftsman 139.53661SRT2 garage door opener. Two remote units and one keyless entry pad. The main wired keypad inside the garage is not the premium version. Recently replaced the batteries in the remote visor transmitters and can only get one unit (remote visor, remote visor or keyless entry pad) to program correctly at a time. I can get any one of them to work individually (have to erase programming and start over each time for each unit to do so), so it doesn't seem that there are any issues with the transmitters. Followed the instruction manual steps, and it works for one but then after programming one unit, I'm unable to get the system to program the additional two.

Take the batteries out of the key less entry device and try to program all your remotes. If the problem goes away, it's the key less device. I see that somewhat often. If that doesn't change anything, the logic board is more than likely at fault, but I would still have a technician come out to verify and make sure.

This is a great place to go for advice, especially if you're low on funds and you could resolve the problem before calling and paying a service call, if it's an easy fix. I'm glad you are there for me.
